Shamcey Supsup Finished 3rd Runner Up, Leila Lopes of Angola Reigns!

Our very own Shamcey Supsup shines intensely in the Coronation Night of Miss Universe 2011 as she takes 3rd runner up! Leila Lopes, Miss Angola wins the title!

Shamcey impressed fans with her answer during the Q and A portion. Judge Viveca A. Fox asked Miss Philippines if she would change her religion to marry someone she love. Shamcey humbly answered, “If I had to change my religious beliefs, I would not marry the person that I love because the first person that I love is God who created me and I have my faith and my principles and this is what makes me who I am. And if that person loves me, he should love my God too,
Here’s a summary to what hapened in the Miss Universe semifinals-coronation finale:

NOT TOO LATE TO UPGRADE

I always wanted to go back to school but never had a chance to fulfill it. So many reasons to say but if there’s an opportunity to polish and upgrade my knowledge for free. Why not? When I saw the ads at INFORMATICS in Robinson Imus regarding the Free Training via OWWA SCHOLARSHIP for OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) and dependents, it interest me to inquire about it. From there I was introduced about the SESP which means Scholarship for Employment Scholarship Program, One of the project of OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) for the land-based or sea-based OWWA member-OFWs of to their dependents/beneficiaries.

Indeed a great help especially for people who really value knowledge so much. Thanks for this opportunity that will help every OWWA beneficiary who will avail of this great benefit from OWWA to grow intellectually. This will serve a powerful tool for future career advancement.

God Wants Us to be HAPPY...

I got inspired when I read one blog from Edel Madalay. It truly inspires me that  I decided to write and share it to everyone. Every morning is indeed a blessings from God. Let us be thankful and happy for every morning that we open our eyes and witness the beauty of life.

I have always believed that happiness is a choice. No matter how miserable you think you are, you can still choose to be happy. No matter how bad the situation may be, you can always choose to react differently and take things lightly.

The past months, I have observed how God tested my faith. I wished for a lot of things but only gained a handful. Or so I thought. Recently, I have been amazed by the little blessings coming my way. I didn’t recognize them at first. But eventually I realized they were indeed blessings showered upon me by the good and gracious one above.

Life is too short not to be happy. Each day is a gift and we should treasure it as if it were our last. Say a little prayer before you sleep and after you have awoken. Start your day with a smile. Thank each person at the slightest opportunity. Thank each good deed extended to you by doing something good to other people. Look forward to the coming days that are sure to be filled with wonderful surprises and God’s blessings.

God wants you to be happy. God wants me to be happy. Let’s be happy all the time, despite of and in spite of. Keep smiling everyone.

First Favorites...

Lahat ng first favorites shiempre memorable. Nakakatuwang balik balikan and when ever i do some flashback, napapangiti na lang ako. So, to refresh my memory i tried writing down some of my very first favorites.

 FUNNY KOMIKS
This is the first komiks I really enjoyed reading.

VOLTES 5

DINA BONNEVIE
Dina Bonnevie is one of may favorite local actress during my younger years. She won first runner up sa Ms Magnolia seach sa tv. If I am not mistaken si Malou Maglutac yung naging Ms Magnolia that time.

PINOY THRILLER/REGAL SHOCKER

Moving On

I'll be on a very short blog. There's too many things I want to write but I can't find time and energy to do it. Maybe because I'm not that inspired and I'm still depress for not having a solid plan for myself. I hate to say this... you'll see less of me for the days to come for I am gonna devote my spare time trying to make something big. I am up to something bigger in terms of expressing myself.
As of the moment, I cannot say that I am on the right track. For i really don't know what's really in store for me in the future. Having no job and idle for months now. It is normal that depression visits me once in awhile. I am now open about accepting that not all the decisions I made whether for my career or personal is right. Now I can talk about trying to win over depression and defeat. A good sign of moving on, soon enough it'll be okay. I am starting to go back to the track and willing to start again from the scratch.

I failed, somehow I am still depressed, helpless, erratic, selfish and alone. I was tested and continuously being tested. I am trying to cope and I am trying to stand up again little by little. I know every morning that I wake up with conviction I can tell myself that I can handle everything and face the challenges of life.

I realized that not getting what I aspire for won't make me a lesser person. I am still gonna continue to learn, to do what I am good at and share what I know from this day and everyday of my life.

Independence Day

Last night everyone is busy in the house, packing things, entertaining guest because two of my friends and housemates, Luft and Nica will going to take their vacation in the Philippines the next day. March 19 is the official date of the flight at around 10:30 am via Emirates Airlines. My two friends were excited and yet lonely because they're
gonna left their honeys, Kim and Syed in Dubai. I really felt the sadness of the girls because they are going to separate for a while with their loveones. Thinking they will miss the happy times the couples shared together, the laughter and tears, the small fights and the sweet moments they shared in one roof. Indeed, it's difficult saying goodbyes.

I witnessed how Kim and Luft shed their tears before they parted ways at the airport. It's funny seeing them in tears but its heartwarming. As you see in the picture, Kim wiping his tears. Luft is hiding and don't want to be caught by the camera in tears.

Let's check out the guys after they brought the girls to the airport. Hmmm yes they were both lonely too??? It really shows on their face??? When they reached the house, you can see them rejoicing and celebrating and marking MARCH 19 as their INDEPENDENCE DAY....A KFC treat also provided.

Its funny because i know at the back of their mind, they just doing this celebration to cover up their loneliness inside...

Strike a Pose Syndrome

It's cool and amazing waiting for service bus going to work with bunch of friends ready to strike a pose in a glimpse. This is not a routine but every time a camera flashes everyone is ready to smile. How can you take a stolen shot? For this guys and gals it's not possible. Everyone is suffering from SPS meaning Strike a Pose Syndrome.

Be aware but not to worry of SPS because though it is contagious but it's fun. Just keep on enjoying every flash and retain your smile.
